General Information:

Turner Valley School, which was established in 1927,  is situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains along Highway 22 (The Cowboy Trail).   The city of Calgary is 60 km northeast of the town and approximately 25 km from Kananaskis Country.  For more information on the Town of Turner Valley, click  http://www.turnervalley.ca/

Kindergarten to Grade 6 school with 243 students and 20 staff members.
Feeder school for Oilfields High School in the town of Black Diamond situated 3 km east of Turner Valley.
The school year is September to June with Christmas and Easter breaks.

The school day for grades K-6 is Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:00.

Kindergarten runs Mondays/Wednesdays with alternating Friday classes.

There is also a Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten class with alternating Friday classes.

Extracurricular activities include x-country running, volleyball, basketball, flag football, track and field and our annual Spring Theatre production.
