Turner Valley School is situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains along Highway 22 (The Cowboy Trail).   The city of Calgary is 60 km northeast of the town and approximately 25 km from Kananaskis Country.  For more information on the Town of Turner Valley, click  http://www.turnervalley.ca/

  • Kindergarten - Grade 6 school with 140 students and 13 staff members. 

  • Feeder school for Oilfields High School in the town of Black Diamond  situated 3 km east of Turner Valley.

  • The school year is September to June with Christmas and Easter breaks.

  • The school day for grades 1-6 is Monday to Thursday 8:35 - 3:05 with early closing on Friday at 2:05. 

  • Kindergarten runs Monday to Friday 8:35 - 11:25.

  • Extracurricular activities include x-country running, volleyball, basketball, flag football, skipping and our annual Spring Theatre production.  

Turner Valley School was established in 1927
